The vertical single-head pneumatic piston-type filling machine is a semi-automatic volumetric filling device. The machine features a vertical frame made of 304 stainless steel, with an integrated hopper at the top. It is driven entirely by pneumatic power and utilises the reciprocating motion of the piston to achieve precise, metered filling. It is suitable for both pastes and liquids, and the parts in contact with the product can be upgraded to a corrosion-resistant configuration comprising 316L stainless steel and PTFE.

Equipment Overview：
This semi-automatic pneumatic paste filling machine is primarily used for the metered filling of high-viscosity materials such as pastes, sauces and emulsions in the food, personal care and pharmaceutical industries. The machine is constructed entirely from stainless steel and features a compact design. It is fitted with swivel castors at the base for easy mobility, and the control panel incorporates a pressure gauge and adjustment knobs, making it intuitive to operate.
Working Principle:
This system utilises the principle of volumetric metering via a piston driven by a pneumatic cylinder; the filling volume is precisely controlled by the piston stroke and is unaffected by fluctuations in material viscosity or feed pressure:
Material suction process: Upon activation of the equipment, the pneumatic directional control valve switches the air circuit, causing the cylinder to drive the piston backwards. The material is drawn from the top hopper into the piston metering cylinder by negative pressure.
Filling process: Once the piston reaches the preset stroke, the air circuit reverses direction; the piston advances, forcing the metered material from the cylinder through the filling nozzle into the container below at a constant rate, thereby completing a single filling cycle.
Cycle operation: Upon completion of filling, the piston automatically returns to its original position. The container is replaced manually, and the next filling cycle is initiated via a foot switch or a button on the control panel.

Based on the principle of mechanical volumetric metering, it ensures consistent filling that is unaffected by material viscosity or feed pressure, delivering high net content accuracy and making it suitable for filling high-value materials.

Features a built-in stainless steel hopper at the top; production can commence simply by pouring the material directly into it, without the need for external feed pumps or complex piping. Production can begin as soon as the air supply is connected.
3. Purely Pneumatic Drive, Intrinsically Safe
With no electrical components in the filling area and compressed air as the sole power source, the machine is intrinsically safe and suitable for explosion-proof environments such as chemical processing and alcohol-based products.
4. Compact vertical design, flexible mobility
The single-head vertical body has a small footprint and is fitted with swivel castors with brakes at the base, allowing for flexible repositioning within the workshop without the need for fixed installation.
5. Steplessly adjustable filling volume
The filling volume can be adjusted by turning a knob to regulate the piston stroke; no replacement of parts is required when changing production runs, making it suitable for flexible production with multiple packaging specifications.
6. Modular and easy to maintain
The piston cylinder, seals and piping are all modular in design; disassembly, cleaning and replacement of wear parts require no specialist tools, resulting in low daily operational and maintenance costs.
